ABOUT THE PROJECT
For the Dubai World Congress 2025 on Autonomous Vehicles and Self Driving Transport (sdcongress.com), I was asked to design a 3D isometric floorplan that showed the exhibition layout clearly while matching the futuristic style of the event.
The project began with mapping out the main zones of the exhibition, including exhibitor stands, networking areas and visitor routes. This step was important to make sure the layout worked well and gave visitors a smooth experience. Once the zones were set, I created a detailed 2D plan, focusing on accuracy and balance. This provided a strong base before moving on to the next stage.
The 2D plan was then developed into a 3D isometric floorplan. The goal was not just to make it precise, but also to ensure it felt on brand, attractive and engaging. I used colours and design elements that reflected the event identity and Dubai’s vision of progress. The final result was both a functional guide and a visual that carried the energy and ambition of the Congress.
The Dubai World Congress 2025 (sdcongress.com) is a leading international event focused on the future of mobility and smart transport. It is organised by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (rta.ae) with the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The event takes place on 24 and 25 September 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Its theme, “Redefining Mobility: The Path to Autonomy”, reflects Dubai’s goal for 25 percent of all journeys in the city to be autonomous by 2030.
The final design delivered a bold and eye catching image that showed the scale of the exhibition in a clear and dynamic way. By combining accuracy with creativity, the floorplan became more than a map. It turned into a branded visual that built excitement and set the tone for an event dedicated to shaping the future of autonomous mobility.

The Dubai World Congress 2025 on Autonomous Vehicles and Self Driving Transport is a leading international event focused on the future of mobility and smart transport. It is organised by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority with the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The event takes place on 24 and 25 September 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The theme of the Congress is “Redefining Mobility: The Path to Autonomy”. It brings together experts, industry leaders, government officials and innovators from around the world to discuss and shape the future of transport. The event also highlights Dubai’s goal for 25 percent of all journeys in the city to be autonomous by 2030.
Across two days, more than 3,000 delegates will hear from over 80 speakers and join 50 interactive sessions. Alongside the talks, the exhibition will showcase the newest developments in autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, smart infrastructure and connected systems, with live demonstrations of emerging technologies.
The programme also includes workshops, panel discussions and competitions that explore how driverless technology can be applied in real life. A key feature is the Dubai World Challenge, where teams present solutions designed for the city’s unique transport needs.
By bringing together researchers, businesses and government bodies, the Congress creates a platform to speed up the adoption of autonomous transport. It goes beyond presenting technology, offering insight into rules, safety, city planning and public engagement. For anyone involved in shaping the next generation of mobility, the event provides an important place to share knowledge, build partnerships and prepare for an autonomous future.
